Ortitay Secures Grants for Projects in the 46th District

SOUTH FAYETTE – Rep. Jason Ortitay (R-Washington/Allegheny) today announced he secured $1.03 million in Local Share Account grants from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) for four projects in the 46th Legislative District.

Tackett Bridge Dedication Ceremony Set for Friday

WHAT: Rep. Jason Ortitay (R-Allegheny/Washington) will lead a bridge dedication and sign unveiling ceremony naming a bridge carrying the Southern Beltway over State Route 980 in Cecil Township in honor of Terry D. Tackett Jr. He rendered aid to a woman in downtown Pittsburgh who was critically injured when a vehicle ran into the side of the Allegheny County Building several years ago. In October 2022, Tackett died in a vehicular accident. Ortitay amended the bridge naming into Act 63 of 2024.
